We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of such a generous and compassionate community—one that consistently shows up for us and for the young people we serve. The steady outpouring of support in the form of gently used furniture and household items allows us to turn empty spaces into welcoming homes, filled with warmth, comfort, and dignity.

Pictured here is Barbara Greer, a Rancho Yolo resident in Davis.  She recently donated some furniture which our youth were glad to receive. Barbara also shared the following message with her neighbors:

"I have recently discovered a great local charity called "Make It Happen, Davis".  They serve transition age youth 16 to 24 yo who are transitioning from foster care, homelessness or mental health challenges into independent living.  MIH offers these young persons their choice of USED furniture and NEW home furnishings( kitchen supplies, linens, etc)  Here is the link if you would like to donate furniture or money:  https://www.mihyolo.org/

Volunteers came and picked up some furniture with strong person power, a van and great attitudes.
